With less than a month before their wedding Heidi and Scott were on to their third photographer. For various reasons the two previous shooters were not able to be there for their day, things happen. After a phone conversation with Heidi, there was no way I was saying no. She told me about the old mansion that sits on three hundred acres and how she was to be married in late afternoon in a garden, right out side of Philadelphia (psssh fairy tales, right?). But what sold me was the love in her voice. How she couldn’t wait to marry Scott. It wasn’t so much that she needed a perfect day, because with a love like this maybe it’s already perfect. So what if it rains or if you go through a few photographers. It’s about two people in love…it’s that simple. Plus, Scott’s freaking awesome. Here’s a guy who would do anything to make Heidi happy, and just make people laugh. And what a huge Star Wars nerd (the originals…calm down internet.)
Here’s Heidi & Scott’s Wedding
Thanks to The Highlands (http://www.highlandshistorical.org/) Brothers Catering (http://www.brotherscateringcompany.com/), Philadelphia String Quartet (http://philadelphiaquartet.com/). And special thanks to Anna for setting me up with this amazing wedding and amazing desserts (www.saveyourfork.com) and Emily Wallhauser for being a rock star and shooting the shit out of this with me (http://www.emilybearphoto.com/)
I met these two for brunch, they were on a quick stop between DC and New Jersey. We got to know each other over eggs and coffee. We did engagement pictures in Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. I love these guys not much more to say except I want to hang out with them more…done. See you September 27th.
